Celebrating the inspirational women at Dune London
In celebration of International Women's Day we reached out to our wonderful Dune London team to find out what it means to them and asked them to share their stories about the inspirational women that have helped them along the way
BELONGING - RELEVANCE - EMPOWERMENT
International Women’s Day 2024 is a great opportunity for us at Dune London to reassert our commitment to forging a more inclusive world for women and be part of implementing positive change.
We are proud to count so many inspirational women in our business, in our partner businesses across the globe, and amongst our customers; we are proud that our executive board is 50% female; yet we know there is much more we can and need to do to drive equity and diversity in all its forms in all that we do.
We look forward to harnessing the passion and spirit that defines Dune London and being part of this critical journey #InspireInclusion.
Women that Inspire me? I would have to say my Mum – which I know is a bit cliché but my mum has inspired me all the way throughout my career, as well as my friendships and family life
Natalie Edgley - Buying Manager
To me IWD means recognising and celebrating the achievements of women globally and making sure we continue to get the respect and recognition we deserve
Chanice John-Marie - Senior People Advisor
Women that inspire me? A big inspiration to me has been our Head of Retail Cheryl Lee - as a working mum she's inspired me to continue working on my career as well as having a family - Supporting me with the opportunities to do both
Hayley Wheeler - Account Manager
What are the issues women still face in the work place today? In comparison to male counterparts’ women still struggle to get equal pay and opportunities – I’ve been really fortunate and not faced any barriers. Dune London really champions equality and diversity in the workplace
